The Fisherman Restaurant Catering

Welcome and thank you for considering the Fisherman of Noank for your event. This package is designed to provide you with menus and pricing for just about any type of event. We offer exceptional value and quality in a relaxed casual atmosphere; we treat each event as if it were our own, we hope that everything you need to know about food and beverage selections and pricing can be found here.

Beverage Service
Arrangements for beverage service should be made at the time of menu selection.  Alcoholic beverages may not be consumed or served in the state of Connecticut to any person under the age of 21. The Fisherman reserves the right to check proper identification and to refuse alcohol to any individual that is under age, suspicious or observed to be intoxicated.  The Fisherman also reserves the right to terminate alcohol service at any time during the event.  All beer, wine, non-alcoholic beverages and liquor must be purchased from the Fisherman and may not be brought on premises by the host or guests without permission of the Fisherman.  All bars will close one half hour prior to the completion of the event.

Menu Selection
Menus are to be chosen no later than two weeks in advance of the event.  We will be happy to customize a menu for you based on your specific needs. We ask that a guaranteed count for your party is given at least eight days prior. .  The guaranteed number is not subject to reduction after the specified deadline.

Beverage Service

Retainer
A non refundable retainer of 375.00 dollars is requested at the time of the booking for your event.  This is applied to your final total.

Banquet Room / Patio Charge
As an act of good faith, the Fisherman is waiving all room and patio charges for the 2011 season. We reserve the right to require a minimum purchase for all events

 If the patio is the venue of choice we only ask a $325.00 charge to reserve a "plan B room" in case of inclement weather. For Parties of 50 plus, we require $525.00. We will in effect be tying up double the space for each patio event if the weather does not co-operate.  This is viewed as an insurance policy and is not applied to the final total of your bill

It is our goal to showcase the beautiful setting we have here by the cove and seaside by offering superior food, amicable service and exceptional value.

July and August Patio Minimums
During prime season, the following minimums are required for patio functions: Daytime from 11:00 am to 4:00pm $28.00 minimum including food and beverage per guest / Evenings from 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm $40.00 per guest including food and beverages
A service charge of 18% and 6% state sales tax will be added to the final total

Rentals/ If rentals are required for the party we do not add a surcharge to that total. Clients are welcome to contract any outside rental Company if they wish; you are responsible for all rental and delivery fees

The Fisherman Restaurant is not responsible for articles lost, stolen or left overnight.

Many people have a difficult time figuring out what to do with beverage service, it has been our experience that for the most part it is generally acceptable to offer beer and wine to your guests with the understanding that if someone wishes for stronger spirits, they may take it upon themselves to indulge at our full service bar
