About The Fisherman Restaurant
The Fisherman Restaurant is located in the quaint, historic seaside town of Noank Connecticut. The restaurant is a stones throw from the beautiful idyllic coastal community of Groton Long Point and sits adjacent to Palmers cove with a direct view of Fishers Island and Western Fishers Island Sound.
With a seaside setting and close proximity to some of New England’s most productive fishing ports, we are fortunate to be able to offer the very best of our local waters bounty. Our scallops come from the famed Bomster family of nearby Stonington, and the scallops are legendary.
Lobsters from Noank, Narragansett and Point Judith Rhode Island, fresh and lively are available always and according to the tides and times we are able to offer our guests the best of local tuna, striped bass, blackback and yellowtail flounder, fluke, mahi mahi, codfish and even an occasional opah!
We offer many other types of seafood and our strong relationships with our vendors translates to the very best in seafood for our customers.
We don’t neglect the non seafood eaters by any means, choice varieties of steaks, Kansas City style veal chops, Colorado lamb, all natural chicken, duck and game finds its way on to our menus and specials on a regular basis.
We offer pasta specialties including such items as lobster ravioli, rigatoni Bolognese, angel hair with colossal lump crab and much, much more.
The Fisherman culinary staff has been assembled from some of the areas most capable talent and the restaurant now offers a fresh modern approach that is in keeping with and often exceeding the times.
